You should have everything you need for your dance for in studio dress rehearsal: tights, shoes, costume, accessories and appropriate hair ties. In studio dress rehearsal does not require makeup.

LDC Closure Days
|
LDC follows the BVSD school calendar and will be closed on the following days:
January 18, 2010 - Monday: Martin Luther King Day
February 15, 2010 - Monday: President's Day
February 26, 2010 - Friday: Professional Development Day
March 22 - 30th, 2010 - Spring Break
April 30, 2010 - Friday: Professional Development Day
May 28, 2010 - Friday: First day of No School! UPDATE: ALL TEAMS PRACTICE FOR COMPETITION TEAM!!
May 31, 2010 - Monday: Memorial Day
If school is closed due to inclement weather LDC will also be closed.
Competition Team: Please be sure to check the Competition Team Info tab since extra practices may come into play during competition season.

LDC June Recital
|
LDC's June Recital will be taking place at Monarch High School on June 19th.
Tickets will be on sale shortly!
Mandatory dress rehearsal: Friday, June 18th @ 6:00pm. Please arrive by 5:45 to get ready.
We will run the Grand Finale first, and once your dance has run and your group picture has been taken you are free to leave. Dress rehearsal is the only time the dancers are allowed to sit in the audience and watch the other dancers, so if you want to see the other dances this is the night to do it.
Recital: Saturday, June 19th @ 4:00pm. Please arrive by 3:30 to get ready.
Pictures: LDC will not have a professional photographer this year to take individual pictures. We will have a photographer taking group pictures on stage before each dance. Parents are free to take pictures during dress rehearsal of their dancer!
Video: LDC will not have a professional videographer this year. If you would like to record our performance you may do so, but please be respectful with any equipment you set up and how it affects those seated around you. It would be helpful if just a few people recorded and distributed DVDs to others.
NOTES: Please arrive with your hair and makeup done, but do not wear your costume to the performance. You will change into your costume when you arrive. Please take special care of your costumes keeping them nicely hung in garment bags. If you received your costume, please hang it up immediately to prevent wrinkles. Steaming costumes while taking a shower is always a good way to get the wrinkles out.
